Vaccination Information for Junior Class Panther Families:

One dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MenACWY, MenQuadfi, Menactra, Menveo) is required for entry into 12th grade for all students.  This dose must be administered at 16 years or older.    Students entering 12th grade must provide documentation to the school nurse prior to the start of school year in order to prevent delays in admittance or exclusion from school.   Vaccines are available at the local health departments (vaccines required for school are provided free of charge), military treatment facilities, local pharmacies, and at your student's medical provider. 

If your student has already received the vaccination at age 16 or older, please provide an updated vaccination record to the school clinic.  You may e-mail it to kbarden-robinson@ycsd.york.va.us or drop off a copy to the main office.  The only exceptions to this requirement are medical or religious exemptions—please contact the clinic for assistance with this process.
