School Improvement Plan

2025-26

Goal 1

During the 2025-2026 school year, Bruton High School will increase the pass rate in English EOC Reading  SOL assessment for students with disabilities from 67% to 71%  11 of 15 SWD to pass 

Goal 2

During the 2025-2026 school year, Bruton High School will increase the pass rate in Algebra 1 EOC SOL assessments for students with disabilities from 60% to 65% or higher.  This would support 26 students.

Goal 3

During the 2025-2026 school year, Bruton High School will increase the pass rate for all students in Biology EOC SOL assessments from 81% to 84% or higher.

Goal 4

BHS will work to provide teachers with instructional supports to help them gain full endorsements in specialized fields.

Goal 5

During the 25-26 school year, Bruton High School will extend the Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) models in all classes.

Goal 6

For the 2025-2026 school year, Bruton High school will reduce the overall chronic absenteeism rate to below 10%.
