This last Friday and Saturday your Boys and Girls Outdoor Track Teams competed at the State Meet at James Madison University.
Top performances this last weekend included:
On the Girls side:
Aliyah Milner (2nd Place 100 Hurdles, and 3rd Place 300 Hurdles)
Angie Schmidt (7th Place in the 100, and 8th in the 200)
The Girls 4x100 relay team consisting of Raegan Plummer, Alecia Kissoon, Armanni Meekins, and Angie Schmidt took 2nd
Alecia Kissoon (2nd in the 200)
With many more personal records being set by the other team members over the two day meet leading to an overall place of 7th out of 37 teams!
On the Boys Side:
Nemo Barrett (State Champion High Jump)
Jayden Curry (State Champion in the 1600, 2nd Place High Jump, 3rd place in the 400, and 2nd place in the 800)
Quinn Marcinek (2nd place in the 110 Hurdles, and 8th place in the 300 hurdles)
Johan Arends (5th place in the 110 Hurdles)
Tommy Smith (5th place in the Long Jump)
With many more personal records begin set by the other members of the boys team leading to your 2024 Boys Outdoor Track Team winning a State Championship!
