Huge congratulations to both the Boys and Girls Indoor Track Teams at Bruton High School for winning the State Championships! Unbelievable performances showcased throughout the meet, with numerous personal and state records broken. Your hard work, dedication, and passion truly paid off. The 2024 Bruton Panthers Indoor Track team brought home both a Girls and Boys Team State Championship by beating 53 other teams in the 1A/2A combined state track meet at Liberty University February 28^th & 29^th.

 

All state selections for the Girls team includes:

Lauren Curry – Shot Put

Aliyah Milner – 55 Meter Hurdles

Girls 4x800 Meter Relay – Consisting of: Adrean Rowe, Gabby Townsend, Lana Santiago, & Brennen Stephens

Alecia Kissoon – 55 Meter Dash

Angie Schmidt – 55 Meter Dash & 300 Meter Dash & High Jump

Girls 4x200 Relay -  Alecia Kissoon, Angie Schmidt, Armani Meekins, & Dakota Lewis

 

With Individual Event State Championships won by: 

Lauren Curry – High Jump

Alecia Kissoon – 300 Meter Dash

Quinn Marcinek – Long Jump

Nehemiah Barrett – High Jump

Jayden Curry -  High Jump & 1000 Meter Run & 1600 Meter Run

Johan Arends – 55 Meter Hurdles

Johnie Askew – 55 Meter Dash

4x200 Meter Relay – Consisting of: Johnie Askew, Jordan Bridges, Nehemiah Barrett, & Quinn Marcinek

Brady Snyder – 500 Meter Run

Kaleb Lamb – 500 Meter Run

4x400 Meter Relay – Consisting of: Brady Snyder, Kaleb Lamb, Josiah Gallegos, & Nehemiah Barrett
